Our site was created about 2 years ago by me Kenny. It started out as just a random game site. It originally was just a site called Zukipets. In reality the site was created before that... about 6 years ago.

   At first my site was a little few pages about me. I had always dreamed of creating my own site at only 6 years old! Anyways, it could only be viewed on my computer so it wasn't really a site. A few years later (about 4) I was swimming and I had an idea, how about I make my own pets site! At the time I was obsessive with Neopets- A virtual pets site. I called it Zukipets.

   I discovered my uncle had his own web server and decided to make a site, for real. It was a crude page with paint graphics and flawed layouts. They had nothing to do much. After a few days I gave up on the project. About a few months later I came back. I re-created all of the layouts and added a ton of content. Quite near to what is currently Zukipets. After a while I decided I didn't want to have a copy of Neopets but rather a site that helps you with neopets, while hosting some plots.

   That's when I added a bare guide and some Neopets worlds. After a year of on and off with the site I came to the conclusion that there were far to many Neopets related sites on the net. That's when I had another idea. Aren't people sick of tons of different sites? How about I create on with tons of help for different games? That way my site will be unique and have its own wings.

   Shortly after the idea I quickly changed my site accordingly and added a main Zuki page. It was just a bunch of lines and breaks. Nothing to attractive. I added my new hobby as a part of the site. It was Runescape. So now I have Zukipets and Zukiscape. I then revamped my main page and expanded it to what it is now. After a few months of mad work I started to build Zukiscape and its pages. I then went on a guide spree and created what it is now.

   Now I made a total revamp to Zukipets by bringing it a brand new layout and a truckload of fresh new content! I applied to be many sites' affiliate and got a bunch of them! Gene helped me do a lot of the guides, and I added many cool functions to the site such as the ShoutBox. The main Zukirealm page was updated and I made look more "shiny". The top banner was made look better and the sidebars were revamped to blend. This gave it a more 'professional' look.

   Then I looked at my beloved Zukiscape and was shocked at how bad the layout looked, especially compare to the newly revamped Zukipets. I contacted Gene and we got to work right away. We both brainstormed ideas that we could use as a new layout. We came up with the idea that it should look like the main Runescape page. So I got to work and started creating a prototype of the layout. After building it I realized how difficult it would be and how much work it was taking. I decided to drop the idea. I aborted the project and started coming up with new ideas. Gene and I both agreed we should use a variation of the main Zuki Realm page. We were thinking of a color scheme and thought white and gold would be perfect and fit in with our little surprise ;).  We decided to use a variation of the main page because Runescape doesn't have many layout friendly graphics. We also did this because I did not want to completely spend so much time on remaking a background for the page. So then I got to work and spent hours developing the layouts graphics and coding. I changed a few things, added the links and figured out how we would organize the links. I then added a shoutbox and a colored scrollbar  and started finishing up the coding. Last, I closed down Zukiscape and spent hours transferring the information from the existing pages into our new layouts. Zukiscape then turned into what you see now!
